Hi again,

I have had another idea for the boomerang that people may be able to do at home. Buy some boomerangs off of ebay or whatever and cover them in carbon. Don't know if that will work.

all the best.

Hi,

Someone where it's windy and flat water please try this idea. This could give this sport a big boost if it works. Only if it gives us 1 or 2 more knots it will be something. There are all sorts of ways we can experiment with this idea and my other ideas in the previous messages. This sport is a bit stagnant at the moment and it's been quite some time since there was a big breakthrough.

BTW i'm bored out of my brains here and I have nothing better to do but send these messages.

all the best.

Hi Again,

I have another idea. To do with the fin this time. Use a very fine drill bit, drill holes in a line in the fin about an inch from the bottom. And slip a small coin into the line and epoxy or use industrial glune and glue it into place. You could shape the coin into more of an aerofoil hape. This might reduce the vortex around the fin. You could do this on wave, slalom and speed fins. Together with the Boomerang idea we may be onto something. And could give us all more speed for little expense if you have access to a garage or workshop at home.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

Hi again,

I have another idea. On formula boards or boards with larger fins you could use a larger coin. For example in Britain you could use a 5p coin on your smaller speed and slalom fins and on your larger and formula fins use a 2p or 10p or even 50p coin. You could even use a steel disc or rectangular peice of small steel plate and shape it somehow into an aerfoil shape. Get shaping everyone we have speed records to break..........

All the best.

Hi again,

I don't know how difficult this will be to gybe. Won't make too much difference to us lot. Could be fun though on the slalom circuit.....

All the best,
