| Holy smoke, I'm amazed at the wind down there, 40+ and 30+ days back-to-back. This coupled with the long run options makes NZ a great candidate to host a speed event. I think it'll give Luderitz a run for it's money. Has anyone ever considered this ?

| Stick with Luderitz Basil.... getting the wind to blow that speed for more than an hour at a time seems to be our biggest challenge.... and over the last 20 years there have been numerous events but rarely does the wind play ball with our timing!
Luderitz seems to at least have consistant strong wind!

Judging by the regular big speeds posted from NZ, it seems to blow 30+ weekly; not many places can match that.
There's been little or no little wind inland for months on end, but thankfully the Luderitz event is soon.
