| Remarks | Managed a quick sail between babysitting the kids. A very nice place to sail but no sandbank edges in a southerly, mostly just short tacking 250m across the main channel. Worth a visit in a NE or SE if the 4 hour drive from Auckland does not put you off, probably a much more pleasant drive without 3 children in the back seat...
