Just saw the news about the fires in Victoria! Must be a big tragedy happening there... I hope our speedsailing friends and their families are ok? Hopefully the autorities can prevent any more loss of lives and injuries!

There is at least one regular Sandy Point kite/windsurfer, Tony Lorenz from Bendigo, that has lost his house and just about everything else.

There are a number of our sailing friends whose homes and properties are at risk. We all hope they can make it through without loss and that they remain safe.

I think I speak for everyone in the GPS world when I wish safety to all our friends in Victoria. Its hard to relate to when we are sitting in snow and rain. So all I can say good luck to everybody in their times of trouble.
